Storegga appoints new Chief Executive Officer

London, United Kingdom, 23 June 2026 – Storegga announces that Tim Stedman will leave his role as Chief Executive Officer effective 1 July 2026.

 

Steve Murphy will assume the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer. Kimberley Wood, currently General Counsel and Company Secretary, will become Chief Commercial and Legal Officer. Michael Alsford will continue in his role as Chief Financial Officer.

Sarah Willows, Senior Independent Director of Storegga, said:

Following the strategic review announced earlier this year and the ongoing sales processes across the portfolio, the Board and Tim have agreed that this is the right time for a leadership transition. Steve, Kimberley and Michael will provide experienced leadership and continuity as the company advances these processes and continues to support the ongoing activity of its projects and portfolio priorities."

Steve is a founding director of both Pale Blue Dot Energy and Storegga and has been closely involved in the development of the company and its portfolio from its earliest stages. He most recently served as Storegga's Chief Commercial Officer and brings more than 40 years of international energy industry experience.

Kimberley Wood joined Storegga in 2023 as General Counsel and Company Secretary. She brings extensive experience across the energy sector and major international transactions and will lead the company's commercial activities, governance matters and ongoing asset sale processes.
