This long-planned evolution aligns with Storegga’s succession planning for sustainable leadership, closely tuned to the next phase of growth.   Since co-founding Storegga in 2019, Nick has been instrumental in advancing the company’s objective of promoting industrial decarbonisation through the development of carbon capture and storage (CCS) and hydrogen solutions. Under his leadership, Storegga has expanded from its UKCCS project to an international portfolio of initiatives, forging partnerships with world-class organisations to accelerate delivery.   In Nick’s new role as Non-Executive Chair, his day-to-day involvement will decrease but he will remain active in guiding Storegga’s strategic direction and in supervising its Board. Reflecting on the past five years, he said:  *"Our founding aim was to establish Storegga as a recognised force in global industrial decarbonisation and it has been a tremendous team effort to reach this stage. Despite the complexity of net zero delivery, we’ve made remarkable progress in our early years and are positioned to leverage the significant opportunities that lie ahead. *  *This new role allows me to continue supporting the team while ensuring the company remains resilient, innovative, and focused on delivering long-term value.
