Harvest Bend’s three injection sites can potentially sequester more than 10 million tons of CO₂ annually.

Our commitment to safe operations & permanent sequestration

Safe and secure carbon sequestration is our priority. Harvest Bend will inject and permanently store CO₂ between 5,000 to 11,000 feet (1 to 2 miles) deep underground, in secure and regularly monitored geological formations.

Over time, trapped CO₂ binds with elements of the surrounding rock through a process known as carbon mineralization. This chemical process permanently locks the injected CO₂ into the rock formation and prevents its escape.
