# Community involvement

We are committed to the development of a facility which benefits the local community, supports jobs, reduces emissions and contributes to accelerating Scotland’s energy transition.

### The development of Speyside Hydrogen will be subject to consultation with communities and other stakeholders at all stages.

### Our first pre-application period ran from 8th August to 5th September and our second pre-application period ran from 14th November to 12th December. This included hosting two public events on the 22nd of August and the 28th of November.

### We have now submitted our planning applications to Moray Council.

#### PLANNING APPLICATION SUBMITTED

Our planning application for Speyside Hydrogen was submitted to Moray Council in February. All documents relating to this application can be viewed on the [Moray Council planning portal](https://publicaccess.moray.gov.uk/eplanning/).

The opportunity to comment on the application via the council's planning portal is now closed.
